I’m extremely nervous when it comes down to thinking of graduation yet I can not wait till the day comes. I feel this way because after graduation we will be attending college and will be on our own without our parents. It’s crazy to think that after we graduate everyone will be going their separate ways and starting their own lives in different ways. We will no longer be kids we will be adults going into the world and that comes responsibility now.
In order to graduate I am finishing all my classes on time and keeping up with all my work so in the end I can be done on time and maybe even have some spare time. I too am earning money for all the up coming events I will have for example grad nite and all the expenses I will be making when taking trips with all the clubs I am involved in.
I am looking forward to many things like grad night, the avid and asb trip, and making so much new memories with all of my friends and family before I leave off to college. This semester will be extremely fun and I can not wait to experience it however I have heard from previous seniors that this semester going by so much more fast than first semester and that upsets me because once it is over we can never go back in time to relive what we have already experienced.
I am especially grateful for all my learning facilitators, because they would always push me to do my best in everything and never giving up on me even when I would be extremely behind on my work and for helping me become better. High school has taught me that hard work does pay off and to never give on anything because it can be accomplished, sooner or later. I’m glad I joined all the clubs I did because they were all new experiences some clubs. Every club was different and I enjoyed that because I met new people in each one. Avid was a club that I am extremely grateful for because it prepared me for college and always expected a lot for me which motivated me to do good and get as much level fours as possible. Both of my Avid teachers opened my mind to many new possibilities and for that I will always be thankful for.
Looking back to my years in high school I wish I would’ve done many things different for example joined many other clubs or would’ve played a sport because I know all the students who have played a sport at LHS have loved it since they make many memories and meet a lot of new people. Also, I would’ve appreciated all my time because high school went by really fast and now that I am looking back I sometimes wish I was still a freshman being high school and relive it all over again, because high school was truly a wonderful and memorable experience.
